Harold Ray Hood

Graveside service for Harold Ray Hood, age 78, of Town Creek will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Midway Memorial Gardens with Parkway Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Mr. Hood, who died Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his residence, was born June 25, 1946, in Alabama to Robert Hood and Mable Johnson Hood.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Betty Jean Logston Hood.  His leisure time was enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and traveling.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Hood; grandson, Jonathan Allen (Holly); and five great-grandchildren, Macy Allen, Jaylee Allen, Max Ambrosio, Olivia Ambrosio, and Atticus Allen.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
