Funeral service for Haley Faye Grubbs, age 18, of Trinity, will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Reese officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. Haley, who died Saturday, September 30, 2023, at her residence, was born June 6, 2005, in Alabama, to Justin Grubbs and Kara Hallmark Grubbs. She was preceded in death by grandfathers, John "Corky" Grubbs and Gary Hallmark. Haley was a 2023 graduate of East Lawrence High School where she served as class president and homecoming queen. She was a sophomore in the Calhoun Community College of Nursing. In her free time, Haley enjoyed hunting and baking.
She is survived by her father, Justin Grubbs; mother, Kara Grubbs (Mike); two brothers, twin, Hayden Grubbs, and Riley Grubbs; stepbrother, Kody Williams (Tia); one sister, Allison Grubbs (Hunter); grandmothers, Jane Grubbs and Joella Gotcher; great-grandmother, Naomi Faye Hall; two nephews, Miles and Stetson; niece, Harley; love of her life, Dawson Terry; her beloved dog, Gracie, whom she called her little sister; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Hayden Grubbs, Riley Grubbs, Dawson Terry, Hunter Bayne, Cayden Rivers, Kody Williams, Brayden Sexton, and Zane Henderson. Honorary pallbearer will be Connery Lowery.
