Funeral service for Glenn Johnson, age 91, of Moulton will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Ledbetter officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service. Interment will be in Aldridge Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson, who died Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Helen Keller Hospital was born January 5, 1935, in Alabama to Nobe Andrew Johnson and Kathleen Sterling Johnson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Merlene Johnson; son, Greg Johnson; parents; three brothers, Noah Johnson (Daphine), Mitchell Johnson, and Guin Johnson (Shirley); and four sisters, Christine Bryant (Bryce), Ruth French, Shelby Parker (Hollis), and Kyleen Bradford. He served in the U. S. Army, and loved to quail hunt and loved Alabama football. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family and sharing his stories with them.
He is survived by two sons, Ricky Johnson and Phillip Johnson (Julie); two daughters, Gina Johnson Reed and Vickie Armstrong (Dayton); brother-in-law, Johnny Bradford; six grandchildren, Mandy Brewer (Jamie), Kurt Johnson (Kim), Amber Johnson, Caleb Armstrong, Paige Armstrong, and Lily Reed Harville (Micah); and a host of great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kurt Johnson, Blaine Johnson, Brodie Johnson, Caleb Armstrong, Logan Brewer, and Micah Harville. Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Brewer and Dayton Armstrong.
