Gerry Wendell Parker

Funeral service for Gerry Wendell Parker, age 85, of Town Creek will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scottie Letson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to service.  Entombment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Mr. Parker, who died Thursday, July 24, 2025, at his residence, was born July 19, 1940, in Alabama to William Guy Parker and Flora Cross Parker.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Greg Parker; sister, Brenda Parker Masterson; and grandchild, Norah James Parker.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Hood Parker; son, William Bartley Parker (Tina); daughter, Michelle Parker; five grandchildren, Anna Grace Coan, Madelyn Parker Huff (Matt), Bartley Kate Coan (R. J. Myers), Kingston Parker, and Sara Whitten Parker; and great-grandchild, Elliot Carver Myers.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
