Gary Pruitt Woods

Memorial service for Gary Pruitt Woods, age 39, of Decatur, will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at The Church at Stone River with Pastor Ted Amey and Pastor Mary Noble Parrish officiating.  Parkway Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.  

Mr. Woods, who died Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Crestwood Medical Center, was born August 17, 1984, in Alabama to Daniel Pruitt Woods and Marilyn Woods. 

He is survived by his wife, Jillian (Ferguson) Woods; two sons, Pruitt Woods and Emmett Woods; daughter, Bailey Woods; parents, Daniel and Marilyn Woods; two sisters, Vicki Gest (James) and Mary Ann Cleckler (Jonathan); and grandparents, James Woods, June Woods, and Thomas and Dora Mae Mitchell.
