Gary Freeman Millwood

Funeral service for Gary Freeman Millwood, age 71, of Trinity, will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Cater officiating.  His family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.  

Mr. Millwood, who died Saturday, October 7, 2023, at his home, was born May 6, 1952, in Alabama to Lee Davis Millwood and Louise Flannagan Millwood.  He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Millwood, and his parents.  Gary was a man who dearly loved his family, and spent his leisure hours boating, fishing, and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda (Parker) Millwood; four sons, Jeff Millwood (Kim), Rod Millwood, Greg Millwood, and Blake Millwood; one brother, Benford Millwood; one sister, Lois Gillespie (O.Z.); eight grandchildren, Dakota, Josh, Jessie, Drew, Devin, Logan, Rachel, and Amber; and a host of great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gary Parker, Joel Parker, Larry Parker, Chris Parker, Robbie Kitchens, and Allan Barber; Honorary pallbearer will be Benford Millwood.
