Frederick Bernard "Freddie" Noland Obituary

Graveside service for Frederick Bernard Noland, age 70, of Trinity, will be Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Midway Memorial Gardens with Reverend Greg Burnett officiating. Parkway Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Frederick B. “Freddie” Noland passed away on June 28, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.

Freddie was born April 11, 1955, in Asheville, North Carolina, to the late Frederick Joe “Pete” Noland and the late Constance Ann (Holland) Noland.  He graduated from Austin High School in 1973 and married his high school sweetheart, Pat, in 1975.  Freddie worked as a paper maker for Champion International/International Paper for 35 years.

In 1983, Freddie and Pat welcomed their only child, Melissa, and the only thing better was becoming beloved Granddaddy to his granddaughters, McKellen in 2012 and Madiland in 2014. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. Simple pleasures he enjoyed were sitting on the beach from sunrise to sunset, entering classic car shows, and watching NASCAR races and Crimson Tide football on TV.  With a mind like a well-stocked library, he could build or fix anything, solve a crossword in ink, and spout countless facts - many practical and others delightfully useless.

Freddie is survived by his daughter, Melissa Brown of Trinity; sister, Annette Noland-McQuaid of Trinity; mother-in-law, Marie Jo McLemore of Pompano Beach, FL; brother-in-law, Bobby McLemore (Goody) of Coconut Creek, FL; and granddaughters, McKellen Brown and Madiland Brown, of Trinity.

The family would like to thank their church family at Trinity Methodist as well as their neighbors in Meadowview Estates for their loving support and care of Freddie and family
