Graveside service for Freddie Diane (Hunt) Callahan, age 61, of Decatur will be 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Roselawn Cemetery with Bro. Marcus Lipscomb officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home prior to graveside service. Mrs. Callahan, who died Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital was born February 19, 1962, in Alabama to Joseph Fred Hunt, Sr. and Rosie Lee Collins Hunt. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William "Rickey" Hunt and Joseph Fred Hunt, Jr.; and one sister, Deborah Jewel Hughes. Mrs. Callahan was a machinist for Specialty Machines. She was a member of Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Callahan; two daughters, Ashley Patterson (Joey) and Catelyn Callahan; and one grandchild, Oakley Patterson.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
