Everett Lee Hill

Funeral service for Everett Lee Hill, age 78, of Decatur, will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Corum officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. 

Mr. Hill, who died Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born January 15, 1945, in Alabama to Luther Hill and Elizabeth Corum Hill.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Brown Hill; daughter, Mechell Darnell; parents; stepfather, Robert Randolph; sister, Brenda Haggermaker (Bill); and two grandchildren, Devin Colburn and Jordan Miller.  He was a truck driver for Wayne's Farm. Poppa loved crappie fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren

He is survived by one son, Boe Hill; two daughters, Beth Noblit (Emily) and Jessica Colburn (James); 14 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
