Emma Jean Storie

Memorial service for Emma Jean Storie, age 72, of Decatur, will be 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel.

Miss Storie, who died Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Decatur Health & Rehabilitation, was born April 7, 1952, in Alabama to James Edward Storie and Willie Irene McBay Storie Powers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Billy Powers and Rodger Powers.

She is survived by four brothers, Jimmy Powers, Ray Powers, Floyd Powers, and Charles Storie; three sisters, Sheila Perry, Pam Cline, and Linda Hannah; and a host of nephews and nieces.
