Edwin Earl Dotson

Edwin Earl Dotson, age 75, of Trinity, died Monday, June 29, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  Pursuant to his request, there will be no service. He will be interred in Heflin Cemetery.  

Mr. Dotson was born August 4, 1950, in Alabama, to Huett Lee Dotson and Myrtle Terry Dotson.  He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Herbert Dotson, Hubert Dotson, John Wayne Dotson, Carl Dotson, Jimbo Dotson, William Dotson, and James Dotson; and four sisters, Eveline Dotson, Lorene Edwards, Ann Edwards, and Huline Hood.  

While he had no children of his own, Earl is survived by a host of nephews and nieces, all of whom he dearly loved.
