Funeral service for Eathel Bernise Allen Stewart, age 101, of Moulton will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eathel Stewart, lovingly known as “Sister,” entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Hillsboro, Alabama. She was blessed to live 101 wonderful years, marked by love, wisdom, and grace. Even in her later years, her mind and memory remained sharp, a true testament to her God-given strength and the fullness of a life well lived.

Eathel was a woman of faith whose life reflected a kindness, devotion, and quiet strength. She is now reunited in glory with those who preceded her in death: her beloved parents, George Allen and Jennie Gibson Allen; her cherished husband, Luther Stewart, whom she loved dearly; her brothers, Samuel Allen, Hollis Allen, Fred Allen, Willard Allen, Carl Allen, Donald Ray Allen, and Charles Allen; and her sisters, Naomi Adams, Sybil Taylor, and Ruth Beck.

Among those left to treasure her memory is a beloved niece, Carla Allen, who was more like a daughter in every way that truly mattered, along with other loving nieces and nephews who will continue to honor her life and legacy. Her faith, love, and wisdom will remain a guiding light for all who knew her.
