Donald Ray Miller

Private graveside service for Donald Ray Miller, age 75, of Moulton will be held at Midway Memorial Gardens with Parkway Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Miller, who died Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Cullman Health & Rehabilitation, was born September 11, 1948, in Alabama to Robert Miller and Martha Sivley Miller.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Dale Miller.  Mr. Miller retired from Morgan County Commission, District 3.  He was a member of the Church of Christ.  He loved playing his guitar and singing classic country music, especially his favorites, Hank Williams, Sr. and George Jones.  His leisure time was also enjoyed watching old westerns and working in his garden.

He is survived by his son, Philip Miller (Lana); daughter, Cindy Wiley (Greg); three sisters, Nadine Gray, Rachel Hitt (David), and Tammy Miller; five grandchildren, Alaina Wiley, McKendree Garner (James), Jasper Miller, Alison Wiley, and Alivia Wiley; and great-grandchild, Wrenley Garner.
