David George Hranac

Funeral service for David George Hranac, age 84, of Danville will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Simmons officiating.  The family will receive friends on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. 

Mr. Hranac, who died Tuesday, December  17, 2024, at Huntsville Specialty Hospital, was born May 21, 1940, in Idaho to William and Lola Hranac.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Aaron Hranac; sister, June Hyatt; and three brothers, Victor Hranac, Jewel Hranac, and Ernest Hranac.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margie Hranac; three daughters, Malinda Dollar (Jeff Sherrill), Jill Harris (Steve), and JoAnna Hranac (Dennis Hoover); two sisters, Dixie Bark and Nina Riggs; seven grandchildren, Zachary, Jordan, Cory, Casey, Michelle, Brittany, and Bianca; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Dutton, Michael Libauskas, Jeremy Alexander, Kevin Whaley, Michael Westmoreland, Dennis Hoover, and Cory Harris.
