Daniel "Pete" Heflin

Graveside service for Daniel "Pete" Heflin, age 89, of Trinity will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Morris Chapel Cemetery with Mark Gillespie and Charles Rosson officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Mr. Heflin, who died Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his residence was born August 23, 1935, in Alabama to John Logeston and Letha Mae Heflin Logeston.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Gillespie Heflin; daughter, Sonja Hall; and parents.

He is survived by his son-in-law, Dr. Robert Hall; two brothers, John Logeston and Clarence Ed Logeston; six sisters-in-law, Barbara Hale, Annette Gillespie, Phyllis Key, Rose Mary Rosson, Patsy Oliver, and Tammy Freeman; three brothers-in-law, Bruce Gillespie, Harry Gillespie, and Johnny Gillespie; and a host of loving nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
