Daniel Allen Booker

Daniel Booker, age 42, of Decatur, died Monday, October 6, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital.  No service is scheduled at this time.  Parkway Funeral Home is assisting his family with arrangements.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Mr. Booker was born December 4, 1982, in Florida to Luanette Booker and Dewey Lee Dodgen.  He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Austin Dodgen.  He was a man of faith who loved his family and friends.  He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and Alabama football.  Daniel was a machinist at Leidos.

He is survived by his wife, Holly Booker; mother, Luanette Booker; stepdaughter, Alexis Hill; stepson, Jay Casteel; nephews, Prestin Dodgen and Axxle Dodgen; and a host of extended family and friends.
