Funeral service for Crystal Lee (Hamm) Hill, age 50, of Moulton, will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Strong officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Grange Hall Cemetery.
Ms. Hill, who died Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in Lawrence County, was born March 16, 1974, in Alabama to Marvin Ray Hamm and Martha Cantrell Hamm. She was preceded in death by her parents. Crystal lit up the world with her personality and made people laugh until their bellies hurt. Her huge heart was evidenced by the love shown to her by everyone and the fact that she never met a stranger. She always thought she had to look her best, and truly loved shoes and purses. Crystal and her sister, Amanda, frequently reminded each other, "I love you very much more, Sister."
She is survived by her son, Shawn Hamm; daughter, Santana Hill; stepmother, Pam Hamm (J.C. Manley); brother, Joshua Ray Hamm (Erin); sister, Amanda Hamm (Jeff Barber); seven grandchildren; three nephews, Carson, Tide, and Luke; three nieces, Tiffany, Brittany, and Posey; and a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tez Sledge, Billy Bob Gay, Billy Redmond, Conner Gay, Skyler Addy, and Kameron Gamble.
