Cora Elizabeth (Woods) Hale

Funeral service for Cora Hale, age 77, of Trinity, will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richie Thompson officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  

Cora Elizabeth Woods Hale passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at home surrounded by loved ones.  She enjoyed being outside and working with her flowers.  She made friends everywhere she went and adored them, and will be missed deeply.  She loved her family big and was always their biggest cheerleader.

She was born July 11, 1947, in Mississippi to Benjamin and Gladys Woods.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Benjamin "Benny" Woods; and granddaughter, Emily Grace Hale.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Hale (Lori) and Chris Hale (Sherry); brother, William "Billy" Woods; five grandchildren, Justin Barber, Porchia Shadden (Adam), William Blake New (Samantha), Zachary Mills (Skylar), and Mercedes Aker; seven great-grandchildren, Madi, Daygan, Brantley, Harper, Maddie, Millie, and Nora; and many more she loved like her own.
