Clifton Charles Cottingham

Clifton Charles Cottingham, age 94, of Decatur, died Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  His family may host a celebration of life at a later date.  Parkway Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Mr. Cottingham was born August 31, 1931, in Alabama to Willie Cottingham and Mary Elizabeth Craft Cottingham.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Cottingham; son, Clifford Cottingham; parents; five brothers, John Lambert, Floyd Lambert, Charlie Cottingham, Phillip Cottingham, and Curtis Cottingham; and four sisters, Mary Stevens, Willie McKinney, Willard Williams, and Margaret Cottingham.  

He is survived by his son, Terry Cottingham (Pam); two grandchildren, Clifton Cottingham and Derek Cottingham (Haley); and great-granddaughter, Ava Claire Cottingham.
