Christopher Todd "C.T." Cunningham

Funeral service for Christopher Todd "C.T." Cunningham, age 62, of Decatur will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jesse Reeder officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to service.  Interment will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Chris went to Heaven on May 21, 2024, at the age of 62.  He was born to Ralph and L. B. Cunningham.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jerri Cunningham; his four children; his grandchildren; along with his aunt, Audrey Gipson.

After graduating from Raleigh/Egypt High School in Memphis, TN, he became a clerk at Menters Grocery in Memphis, and later started as mail clerk at Redstone Arsenal, AL.   With a better position he started at the Missile Defense Command at Boeing in Huntsville, AL, from which he retired with 23 years of service.

Chris will be fondly remembered for his generosity, infectious smile, hearty laugh, and his unwavering love for his wife and other members of the family.

Chris was saved and baptized at Central Baptist Church in Decatur, AL, where he remained a member.

Chris will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.  May this kind and generous spirit live on in our hearts forever.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
