Charles Mark Spears

Funeral service for Charles Mark Spears, age 63, of Decatur, will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April16, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Albright officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service at the funeral home.  Interment will be Moulton Memory Gardens.  

Mr. Spears, who died Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital, was born July 18, 1959, in Alabama to Charles Spears and Phoebe Richardson Spears.  He worked construction in the housing industry.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel "Cookie" (Hart) Spears; son, Bryant Spears; daughter, Amanda Allen (Jared); his parents, Charles and Phoebe Spears; sister, Karen Johnson (Brian); grandchild, J. C. Allen; and niece, Phoebe Grace Johnson.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
