Charles Edward Townson

Funeral service for Charles Edward "Charlie" Townson, age 89, of Huntsville will be 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Agee officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens with no graveside service.

Mr. Townson, who died Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Hospice Family Care facility, was born January 18, 1935, in Alabama to Clyde A. Townson and Dinah M. Townson. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Brenda and Patsy; three brothers, Jackie, Marrell, and Eugene; and grandson, Jeremy.

He is survived by his two sons, Tony and Terry; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Nathan, Michael, Rachel, Rebecca, Tessa, and Grace; eight great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Salora, Arpita, Elizabeth, Sophia, Mia, Olivia, and Cassius.
