Carolyn Marie (Wilcox) Johnson

Funeral service for Carolyn Marie (Wilcox) Johnson, age 78, of Trinity will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthew Jetton, and Rev. Mrs. Johnson, who died Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born February 13, 1947, in Michigan to Colon Wilcox and Pauline Wilcox.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tom Wilcox; and two sisters, Lillian Marie Kirby and Gloria Wilcox.  Carolyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved God, and singing and listening to gospel music.  She was a loving friend who never met a stranger. 

She is survived by her husband, Leon Johnson; son, Lee Johnson (Regina); daughter, Darlene Raab (Don); brother, Paul Wilcox; two sisters, Marilyn Vantzelfde and Cora Barkley; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lee Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Tommy Kirby, Sean Johnson, Scotty Woodard, and Heath Blaxton.  Honorary pallbearer will be Trent Green.
