Carlos Irvin Posey

Funeral service for Carlos Irvin Posey, age 71, of Moulton will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mr. Posey, who died Thursday, June 19, 2025, at his residence, was born April 23, 1954, in Alabama to Earl Posey and Louise Garrison Posey.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Melvalene Borden Posey; his parents; and two brothers, Charles Posey and Carl Posey.  Carlos served in the United States Marine Corps.  He dearly loved his children and grandchildren.  His leisure time was enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

He is survived by his daughters, Teresa McAuliffe (John, Jr.) and Tonie Posey; stepson, Adam Burney (Travis); brother, Ricky Posey (Sandy); sister, Vicki Montgomery; and six grandchildren, Michael McAuliffe, Jasmine McAuliffe, Joshua McAuliffe, Lillie Smith, Katie Smith, and Carter Smith.

Pallbearers will be Waymon Posey, Will Posey, John McAuliffe, Jr., Michael McAuliffe, Joshua McAuliffe, Adam Burney, Jacob Posey, and Tab Garrison.
