Mr. Boston, who died Thursday, May 29, 2025, at his residence, was born April 21, 1939, in Alabama to John Boston and Dora Abbott Boston. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Howard Boston (Doris) and Dewey Boston; and sister, Vera Cannon (Robert). Mr. Boston was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, and a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He was an avid woodworker and fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Jack was happiest when surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife, Jewel (Turrentine) Boston; three daughters, Karen Boston, Becky McCaghren (Ted), and Sherry Elkins (Byron); brother, Lonzo Boston (Debbie); sister-in-law, Juanita Boston; and two grandchildren, Lily Stoffell (Stefan) and Cassidy Wallace.
Pallbearers will be Ted McCaghren, Byron Elkins, Stefan Stoffell, Daniel McCaghren, and Tim Taldon.
