Bobby Eugene Woody

Funeral service for Bobby Eugene Woody, Sr., age 95, of Jefferson, GA (formerly of Moulton) will be 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. R. C. Borden officiating.  The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service.  Interment will be in Clardy Cemetery. 

Mr. Woody, who died Thursday, February 19, 2026, in Georgia, was born April 18, 1930, in  Texas to Archie Gilmore Woody and Vera Enid Landers Woody.  He was preceded in death by his wives, Betty Ruth Woody and Mary Jo Woody; son, Billy Dean Woody; daughter-in-law, Betty Marie Woody; brothers, Glenn Ford Woody, Tommy Gene Woody, and Billy Joe Woody.  Mr. Woody was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served on the USS Wright Aircraft Carrier for four years.  He was active in CB radio for many years and retired from TVA as a pipefitter.  Bobby was very active in his church and frequently traveled overseas on mission trips.

He is survived by his sons, Bobby Eugene Woody, Jr. and Kenneth Patrick Woody (Marcella); stepchildren, Vicki Lawrence, Lisa Burnside, and Woody Lawrence; brother, Kenneth Mitchell (Joy); sister-in-law, Marjorie Woody; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and extended family.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
