Billy passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. He is leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and quiet strength that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A devoted husband to his loving wife, Katrina, he built a life grounded in laughter, loyalty, and unwavering love. He was a proud and dedicated father to his daughters, Heather and Haley, who were the light of his life and his greatest accomplishments. Nothing brought him more joy than being “Pawpaw” to his cherished grandchildren, Aubreonna and Kamden. They could always count on him for a warm hug, a soft kiss, or silly dance move. He found his greatest joy in the laughter and achievements of his grandchildren, never missing a chance to show how proud he was of them.
Family was the center of his life.
He was a loving son to his mother, Ruby, carrying forward the values of family, resilience, and kindness that she instilled in him. He was also a brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. The kind of man who could walk into a room and instantly make it brighter by just his presence.
A life long fan of Alabama Crimson Tide football, he cheered passionately on Saturdays, proudly calling out “Roll Tide” whether his team was winning big or keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. He loved spending time on the golf course, enjoying the camaraderie as much as the game itself. He love listening to rock-n-roll music especially AC/DC.
Though he was taken from this world too young, the love he gave so freely will continue to guide and comfort his family in the years ahead.
