Betty Joyce (Ray) Rollins

Graveside service for Betty Joyce (Ray) Rollins, age 78, of Decatur, will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Decatur City Cemetery with Chaplain Abby officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.   

Mrs. Rollins, who died Saturday, October 14, 2023, at her residence, was born July 27, 1945, in Alabama to Henry Ray and Veron Goodwin Ray.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Rollins; two sons, Baron Rollins and Faron Rollins; and her parents.

She is survived by three sons, Will Brown, Hershell Brown, and Daron Rollins; and one daughter, Brenda Olea.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family would like to express their special thanks to the entire Amedisys Hospice staff, and especially nurses Heidi, Vickie, and Karen.  Also thanks to grandsons, Domingo and Brandon Rollins for their special care of Mrs. Rollins.
