Barbara Lynn (Reed) Looney

Funeral service for Barbara Lynn (Reed) Looney, age 69, of Decatur, will be 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Ward officiating.  The family will receive friends on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Mrs. Looney, who died Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto in Southaven, MS, was born July 22, 1954, in Alabama to Lolan Reed and Margie Lillian Winsett Reed.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Looney, and her parents.  Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Her leisure time was enjoyed at the beach or casino.

She is survived by her son, John Johnson; two daughters, Stacey Milligan and Kelly Johnson; four brothers, Wayne Reed, Larry Reed, Bill Reed, and Jackie Reed; sister, Jean Lasater; and four grandchildren, Clayton Milligan, Maegan Milligan, Kaelyn Stevenson, and Bryant Stevenson.  

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
