With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we bid farewell to Andrew Brooks, a dedicated father, beloved husband, and cherished son. Andrew passed away on May 17, 2023, leaving a void that can never be filled. His departure has brought immeasurable grief to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Andrew was born on August 4, 1985, in Huntsville, Alabama.
Andrew's passion for the excavation industry became evident when he was growing up. He followed in the footsteps of his father and assumed the role of superintendent in the family's excavation business. His expertise, dedication, and meticulous attention to detail were unparalleled. While Andrew found fulfillment in his professional endeavors, his true joy resided in his rural roots. The time he spent tending to his livestock brought him immeasurable happiness. Every day was an adventure with his cattle.
Beyond his work and love for livestock, Andrew cherished his role as a devoted father and loving husband. He adored his children and embraced every opportunity to create lasting memories with them.
Andrew's absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of his cherished family. He is survived by his loving wife, Heather, and his adoring children, Braxton and Rhett. His mother, Jo Dunlap, siblings-- Ron, Sheila, Jake, Yon, and Wesley as well as a host of aunts, uncles and extended family will forever carry the memories of Andrew in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dunlap.
In honor of Andrew's memory, the family invites you to join them at Moulton Church of Christ on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00, with the funeral service immediately following.
