Alan Joseph King

Graveside service for Alan Joseph King, age 46, of Decatur, who went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 26, 2023, will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Midway Memorial Gardens.  Parkway Funeral Home assisted his family with arrangements.

He was born to Ronald and Connie Cheek King on January 3, 1977, in Dublin, Georgia. Alan was a 1995 graduate of Austin High School, and a graduate of the University of North Alabama. Alan was a devoted father, and a loving son and brother.

Alan was employed for the past 23 years with Simplify Compliance in Brentwood, TN as Senior Content Manager focusing on employee law.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Connie King; his son, William King; his sister, Charlotte Doshier (Corey); his brother, Aaron King (Kristen); his niece, Emily Doshier; and nephew, Jacob Doshier.
