Aaron David Hranac

Funeral service for Aaron David Hranac, age 59, of Danville, will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Simmons officiating.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. 

Mr. Hranac, who died Thursday, November 28, 2024, at his residence, was born June 6, 1965, in Illinois to David George Hranac and Margie Owens Hranac.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Maggie Owens and William and Lola Hranac.  Aaron enjoyed going to church, playing cards and conversing with folks at Five Points, football, crossword puzzles, and animals. He loved his family and especially spending time with his uncles, Norman "Red" Owens, and Tom Libauskas, who kept his watches running.  Aaron was an avid harmonica player.

He is survived by his father, David G. Hranac; mother, Margie Hranac; three sisters, Malinda Dollar (Jeff Sherrill), Jill Harris (Steve), and JoAnna Hranac (Dennis Hoover); four nephews, Zachary, Jordan, Cory, and Casey; three nieces, Michelle, Brittany, and Bianca; seven great-nephews; and seven great-nieces.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Dutton, Michael Libauskas, Jeremy Alexander, Kevin Whaley, Michael Westmoreland, and Jamie Dutton.  Honorary pallbearers will be Cory Harris and Jerome Owens.
