Funeral for Phillip Morris, 83, of Courtland will be Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM with Rev. R. C. Borden officiating.  Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be 2 hours before the service at the funeral home.  Mr. Morris, who died Monday, June 24, 2019, at North Alabama Medical Center was born, March 5, 1936, to William Lawrence Morris and Versie Parker Morris. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Yvonne Thompson Morris
7 brothers - Prater Morris, Parker Morris, Paul Morris, Percy Morris, Pelmer Morris, Prentis Morris, Pete Morris
3 sisters - Ava Carr, Minnie Letson,  Mary Ruth Kasulka
Son - Greg Morris
3 grandchildren
Survivors include:
Son - Mitchell (Robbie) Morris
2 daughters - Lisa (Dewayne) Little and Benita Brantley
10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.  Pallbearers will be Ralph Morris, Roger Morris, Marlin Morris, Anthony Morris, Derrick Morris and Jason Morris.
