Jimmy Rainey

 Funeral for Jimmy  Rainey, 68, of Moulton will be Monday, May 14, 2018, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Randy Copeland and Rev. Stuart Shelton officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.  Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church.  Mr. Rainey, who died Friday, May 11, 2018, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born, May 31, 1949, to Odis Rainey and Ollie Lee Johnson Rainey.  He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church .  He was retired from Solutia after 38 years and  enjoyed horse shoeing. He loved his wife, girls and grandchildren dearly, He loved to talk and share his love for Jesus for hours.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bobby Rainey.

Wife - Frances Garrison Rainey
2 Daughters - Meredith (Wyatt) Hill and Heather (Britt) Johnson
Sister - Shelby (Billy) Dutton
4 Grand Children - Savanna Lee Hill, Sara Wyatt Hill, Rainey Erin Johnson and Raegan Elizabeth Johnson
Steve Hampton, of whom he considered a brother.
Father-in-law and Mother-in-law - Tom and Opal Garrison.
 Pallbearers will be Steve Hampton, Keith Fagan, Wyatt Hill, Britt Johnson, Greg Dutton, Randy Garrison, Cole Cameron, Mike Legg, Thomas Graham and Zach Daniel. 
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Don Hill, Wade Hill, Mike Childers, Billy Dutton, Jack Foster, Les Blevins and John Bryant Porter.
